A List of Famous Aston Martin Owners

Say what you want about any supercar on the face of the Earth, but there’s just something about an Aston Martin that’s unique to this brand alone. Aston Martin has for its entire history somehow managed to balance monstrous power and brute force with timeless elegance and sophistication.

Take a look at the average Ferrari or Lamborghini and you can’t help feeling they come across a bit like toys…albeit expensive toys. What’s more, try driving a Lambo or a Ferrari around a standard town or village anywhere across the UK without feeling like a complete and total prat – it’s impossible. The streets of Mayfair perhaps…the rest of Britain, not so much.

With an Aston Martin though it’s different – the badge in its own right just screams good taste and the whole package comes across so much more refined than its supercar rivals. As such, it’s unsurprising that the general Aston Martin buyer-base is known as one of a certain degree of class. There are of course exceptions to the rule, but the less said about those, the better.

Famous Aston Martin Drivers

Kicking off the list, Daniel Craig spent so much time driving around in Aston Martins as his James Bond alter ego that he just could not help falling in love with them. As such, the only thing to do was to invest in a brand new Aston Martin V12 Vantage Roadster – the range-topping 510BHP beast that tops out close enough to 200MPH.

As for Hugh Grant, he’s another life-long fan of the Aston brand, though famously admitted that he sees their vehicles more as items to worship than actually drive.

“It was a beautiful car… you want to lick it, mate with it or something but I never really wanted to drive it very much because the gears just occasionally… would just seize up,” he revealed back in 2008 when speaking to Top Gear about his Aston Martin Vanquish.

“The car would stop… you couldn’t even push it to the side of the road… you’re just there on the A316 with people going past making rude signs. But a lovely car…”

Alex Curran wants to be known as Alex Curran and not as the typical WAG…even though her latter half is none other than Steven Gerrard. An admirable stance against stereotypes, but one that falls a bit flat on its face when you see her cruising the streets in her stunning Aston Martin DBS Volante. One a WAG, always a WAG!

And it’s not just footballers that buy into the whole Aston Martin charm either – Jimmy White for example owns a very pretty DB9 Volante and Rafa Nadal also decided to buy British with his DBS.

Another actress of James Bond and Charlie Sheen fame – aka Denise Richards – succumbed to the charms of Aston and invested in a V8 Vantage.

And of course, Pierce Brosnan fell victim to the inescapable charm of Aston Martin while stepping into the shoes of James Bond, having gone on to invest in one for his personal off-screen collection.
